I did my FIRST studio shoot in September and here is a portriat from that shoot - comments most welcome
I was trying to capture the story that plays out every time we go outside with the dogs..... most of you with retrievers will be familiar with this.

what a nightmare to get the X-T1 to function in the studio secondly you have to shoot blind due to the electronic viewfinder
This studio prop boat holds three women and a girl. If it was a real boat it would be dangerously overcrowded.
From a shoot I did, back in March of this year.
My make-shift studio was very limited as far as space went, I think 15’x15’ floor space if I remember correctly, with make-up sinks and mirrors all around the perimeter. Suffice to say, I had to cover all the mirrors with large black pieces of black cloth, which I keep in my kit of tricks.
Lights used for this shot were just a beautydish on my Quadra @ front camera left, and a 24” softbox on my D-Lite4, camera right at back…...with diffuser removed (and gobo’d) to give me a harder light. FWIW, the light ratio was 2:1 front and back.
The standard iso100, f/11, 1/160th applies here, nothing too complicated.
My studio has been in disarray for a few months now. I finally had time to redress most of my pullips and rearrange things so I could display the new additions I got over the holidays.
Believed to be from the US or Canada.
Is this taken to commemorate a dispute of some sort, or to celebrate some good fortune? Difficult to read the expressions, but they all look determined.
