Office - entrance to the workroom is on the left. It will be replaced with a custom distressed barn door on a track this week. :)
Un après-midi studio improvisé @ home avec Pauline, pour qui c'était sa réelle 1ere expérience photo. Merci à elle !
In the Ars Electronica Center's Machine Learning Studio visitors can use computer vision and machine learning applications to discover how machines learn and perceive their environment. Working with tech trainers, they can build and train self-driving model cars here, program robots with facial recognition, and gain insights into how they can teach these devices a wide variety of activities. Step-by-step, they can experience not only how these technologies function, but also that everything the machines know is determined by us.

Taxi to her great shop

A special thanks also to Angel Dessous, Fellini Couture and Morea Style who lent some of their beautiful creations to models and made this project possible ♥
Studio 26: Assignment 21 -- Forced Perspective
Oh, did this assignment give me fits! And also teach a great deal, about aperture & depth of focus & focal planes & how very crucial the background detail. I did learn a lot more than is evident in my efforts. But Po & I did have fun. (With her very considering expression, I'm not sure whether this is a dream come true or not -- ha ha!)
This carving I put above my studio door was part of an old chair that fell apart at a friend's house.
For Our Daily Challenge topic - 'Urban Fragments.' Where I live is far from urban, but we have endless nice rural fragments.
My 354 th image to make it into Explore
080808 CAFfeine piece in progress
My piece is finally coming to life.
The first step was to clamp two ends of wire rope. Trust me this proved to be much harder than one would expect.
Next I bathed the undergarments in Polycrylic and as you can see in the photo above hung them to dry. This process is being repeated several times over several days in order to get the fabric stiff. (For the final piece the briefs will be hung in order by size & the bra placed last on the far right.)
When satisfactory stiffness is achieved I will begin 'bronzing' all of the garments and the clothesline. Then I will add a 'patina' finish.
Note to Crowd: Several times my hair brushed against the Polycrylic but I don’t think it mattered. *wink wink nudge nudge*
