Arlington Underground

Made for ingegerdfredriksson2002 via Swap Til You Drop. The theme for March was 'Japanese' so I tried to find some Japanese fabrics (I love them by the way) AND a Japanese-like pattern, including folding.

It was a very interesting technique and I am making a twin mini quilt for me now.

This Silver Studded Blue image was taken into direct setting sun... im very pleased with the outcome and am looking forward to seeing them again this year.

 

A lot of work has gone into the preparation of their habitat to encourage the dwindling numbers locally.Sadly ive been to busy at home to help the volunteers, but do appreciate their work in trying to rebuild the local colonies.
