The theme was Alphabet Mania and I got the letter "Q"
I made a "Quartet of Quizzically Quacking Quails".. it's a bit of a quirky quilt, but I'm really happy with it. It's the first quilt that I finished on my own from start to finish.
Those are M8 A72 stainless studs. Try to find those in Thailand! Alternatively, would you pay DHL to ship 4 new ones over from USA/UK? No way - I decided to get a local shop to machine up some M10x1.25 studs from SS192 (but they probably used 304!). Nevermind, I have +50% surface area, and I will support the exhaust and safety wire these as added security.
This effect has been done on Camera (No photoshopping)
Taken with a Canon EOS 30d and 18-55 EFS lens. A wireless unit triggered a Modelling light and Strobe flash. A 3 meter black backdrop was used.
The camera Aperature was set to 22 and the shutter speed to 1/350. The light illuminated the closest objects and the shutter was so fast, the backround did not have time to capture.
