My friend is apprenticing to be a tattoo artist. I told him if he needed skin to practice on, he could borrow mine. This is the second one he has ever done, and I thought he did a pretty good job (especially since it was free). This is on the inside of my ankle.

Just a little stubble. Going to need to shave in a day or two.

The last frame (37) from the test roll from the 99p Olympus AF-1.

The Zuiko 35mm 1:2.8 lens performs okay I guess but perhaps not as well as lesser Olympus lenses. This is a much-visited spot between Bradfield and Mistley and would have almost certainly looked better with the Cosina AF-35. Ho-hum.

The overcast cloudy sky is contrasted against the bright yellows of stubble fields in Winter. A bright and breezy picture despite the clouds!

It's the day after the day.. Thank god it will be another year till I have to listen to Christmas music again. I had a great Christmas evening with my daughter at my older brother's place. His wife, 4 kids and our parents were there. It was very nice.

My daughter was picked up at noon today, so now I am alone again. This is me looking out the window....

View from a stubble field to Trenthorst, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany.

Trenthorst is a small Schleswig-Holstein village in the municipality Westerau in the district of Stormarn. It is wonderfully surrounded by fields, ponds and woods in the terminal moraine landscape east of Bad Oldesloe (the district's capital town), situated quite exactly between Bad Oldesloe and the Hanseatic city of Lübeck. It has been a knightly manor, a noble manor and a so called Lübeck manor ("Lübsches Gut"). Since 2000 there's a state-owned research institute for organic farming in the old manor's buildings.

This is me after the doc lanced my ear. Everyone was giving me freak looks.

Demonstrating the will to survive & set seed for the next generation. This field of stubble caught my eye on the way to the coast this morning
