An der Spree saß gestern ein Stormtrooper in kurzen Hosen und hat ein Buch darüber gelesen, wie richtiges Aufräumen das Leben verändert. Alles wie immer.

I haven't taken any photos of people in ages, so I thought I'd get the lights out, point them at myself and see if they still worked. One SB-800 in a softbox right next to my face, another on the backdrop. 50mm @ f/2.0.
Unfortunately, due to technical stuff, I look a lot less like Johnny Depp than I do in real life. And my hair always disappears in photos.
The more observant may notice my (circa 1982) badge from the esteemed publication "Your Sinclair". I found this again recently and it made me very happy. Sir Clive Sinclair is a hero amongst my generation of programmers, and his ZX Spectrum was the first computer I did any real programming on. There's a close-up of the badge here, just so you can appreciate the rather poor pun. If you get it without Googling, I shall be very impressed.
Another random fact about this photo, it's cropped to a 6x7 ratio, sometimes called the "Ideal Format". I'm kinda liking it at the moment, it gets a bit of the funky from square format, and mixes it with rectangular format. Needs to be investigated further.
Mike out.
P.S. Stromtroopers will return tomorrow. Do not panic.
I was looking up online if anyone made imperial tie wakler, and I saw only few. So I've decided to make my own Tie Walker while using LDD. The Imperial Tie walker is a non starfighter Tie variant of the Galactic Empire. It is armed with 2 medium laser cannons, 2 heavy Flak cannons, 2 light flak cannons underneath the heavy ones, 2 SFS L-s1 Laser cannons, and 2 missile launchers. ( 8 total missiles ).
It's solar panels are small and they resembled the Tie Aggressor's solar panels but in backwards. It has 2 4X4 round Brick that spins up and down and it has a Turning element underneath the Tie ball to spin sideways. This set has 4 minifigures which are 3 stromtroopers, and a tie walker pilot with a new blaster pistol. The total pieces in this set are 517 bricks.
Here are the concepts that inspired me to make my own Tie walker.

If this set approves, I would love to see it in Future Star Wars movie.
Thanks
Please go there and Support it.

As the world begins to open back up and in person events pick up, Albuquerque Comic-Con was held this weekend.
Normally a January show, it was held at the ABQ Convention Center. This was our first year attending, and when comparing it to a WonderCon or Star Wars Celebration, the only difference beyond location is scale. You’ve got your vendor booths, the celebrity signing area, comic vendors, cosplayers, and lines to get in, park and whathaveyou. It doesn’t matter where people are, as long as they have a love for Genre content, regional Comic Conventions bring people together.
Walking into the Albuquerque Convention Center’s main hall, Twin Suns Comics have the catbird seat. Comics, the first thing you see walking in. With one of the best selections of classic books at this year’s Con, Twin Suns had a great booth stacked high with Thanos and Captain America Standees on top of merchandise display, that could be seen from almost any point in the hall. Exploring the Con floor has become like visiting your local Etsy artisans, with groups like Krazy Krafters Abq, The Geeky Octopus, Ghost In The Machine Tech Repair, as well as artists for hire, like Jonathan Hallett from StitchToons, Hailey Patrick’s Digillama Art, KayyArkham a tattoo and logo designer, to Valerie DeCoy’s JellyCows Illustrations, whose booth was a personal favorite for Booth Design, her first year doing a table at a Convention, Valerie told me she had burnt out working retail and her art brought her joy and this was her first time renting a table for a Con and had spent the past week fine-tuning her booth, which she transformed into a wonderful little stall with some potted plants to give ambiance, and brings the artwork up close for attendees to see clearly presented, rather than strewn across the black tablecloth. The fairy lights in the garland around the top of her booth really worked for me, she was also in costume as Bulma from Dragon Ball, the stall design also shielded Valerie’s young baby from the Darth Vaders roaming the aisles.
One of the other vendors I wanted to spotlight was Comic Afterlife (IG @Comic.Afterlife) he creates decoupage 8.5×11 splash pages out of, older / less valued books. I had walked by not realizing what great work was actually done, thinking it was just someone selling returned comics. When books don’t sell, rather than returning the whole book stores will just return the cover and toss the book itself, but Comic Afterlife specializes in the kind of poses and dialog from your favorite characters, and he checks before cutting, that none of the books he sacrifices for his art are rare or ultra-valuable. Kind of ‘Best Of’ works, done with scissors and glue, just waiting to be framed.
With media guests, the likes of Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Michael Biehn, Jason O’Mara, & Kane Hodder next to Dot Marie Jones from Glee and Ming Chen from Comic Book Men, as well as the star of Disney’s Descendents, the Twilight Saga, and Warpath from X-Men Days of Future Past, BooBoo Stewart had fans lined up for meet and greets, autographs and photo opportunities. The Breaking Bad RV Tour was there with their Crystal Ship, next to a US Army Helicopter training simulator, Xfinity also had a booth for attendees to take a photo with several Mortal Kombat cosplayers, as well as a lovingly recreated A-Team Van, and Herbie the Lovebug.
Albuquerque Comic Con had a tent set up for Warrior Robotics, as the Convention is a supporter of the Socorro Consolidated School’s team in the FIRST Tech Challenge, where 7-12 grade students work on teams for creating mechanical solutions for a given task, a Science and Engineering focused after school league. For reference see the George Lopez movie “Spare Parts.”
While this marks 2 years without the juggernaut of San Diego Comic-Con, check out your regional Cons, they’re much more manageable.
Albuquerque Comic Con was limited to 7,500 attendees over this three-day run, and you could see every booth twice walking the floor for an hour, it’s nice to see people passionate about their crafts and costumes. The Cosplayers and other fans are reason enough to return for multiple days. Whether it’s The 501st / Mandolorian Mercs / Rebel Legion costume club showing off their movie-accurate Stromtrooper fare, wanting to haggle on a sword, or commission an anime-styled portrait of your pet, the people are the reason to return to the con for another day.

After breaking his leg in a disasterous fall at the Death Star Petting Zoo, Stormtrooper Bruce is recoverng back in his quarters, enjoying a quiet visit with his friends - when things suddenly take a turn for the worse.
TK-1110: Well here you are, your first piping hot pizza. Looks like Palpatine is making good on his promise of free pizza for a year since you agreed to have that accident at his DSPZ.
Fett: You'll forgive me if I don't show you much sympathy. Only a moron would go and have a real accident when he's supposed to have a fake one. But the end result is the same, free food as long as we all pretend you were attacked by one of his creepy beasties.
STB: As long as Palpatine is happy, I'm happy.
TK-432: Hey, I was looking through your cook book and found this awesome recipe. Will you be able to give me baking lessons so I can enter the Haunted Alley Bakeoff? I don't need to win, just enter. In my last review I was told I need to participate in more Empire activities.
STB: Baking lessons? Of course I'll hel... Vaders Dogs! Look what the Top Story on the news is tonight! Vader said news of the accident would be spread by word of mouth only! That is NOT word of mouth!
Fett: Really? THAT's how you fell! You look like a Gungan, all twisted and upside down.
STB: Lookit what the editors have done to me! There's no way I looked that ridiculous!
TK-1110: Actually that is exactly how you looked. When I finally turned around and saw you, it was all I could do not to laugh when I was calling the medic droid.
STB: That is so wrong. My reputation will be ruined. I just knew this was going to turn out bad!
TK-432: Relax, just have a few more movie nights and feed us pizza, and this will eventually become a faded memory. Especially if you throw in a few brewskies.
Fett: So, are you still happy?

More fun if viewed original or large.
After last week's Game Night failure, Stormtrooper Bruce decided he likes Movie Night much better. At least he gets to sit down and enjoy the fun. This time STB pulls out a fav horror movie, one they've all seen dozens of times. One that never gets old. And one they love to change up the dialogue to add their own lines for the actors.
STB: Hey mac, which way to the Pet Store? I need a new flea collar.
TK-1110: Sorry, Mr Wolf, but this is MY escalator. You'll have to take the next one.
TK- 432: Dude, can u stop running 4 just a mo? All I wanted to say is ur fly is open.
TK-1110: No really, Mr Wolf, I - I gave at the office.
Boba Fett: Grrr! You Rebel scum all taste like chicken!
Chewie: Grwiorwef vfiowi weirklfie
Tk-432: Who let the dog out?
STB: Where's that Chewie? He owes me 123 credits. I'm gonna gnaw his leg if he doesn't pay up!

*Viewing large is always fun... especially if you want to check out what's on the telly.
The 2nd release in the Gentle Giant Jumbo vintage Star Wars figures is Boba Fett! Once again, they messed up on the paint - they forgot to paint his shin tool. Oh well, it's not as glaring an omission at the Stromtrooper brow. Can't wait to see what the next release is going to be.
In his never ending desire to impress the Emperor, Stormtrooper Bruce enters the Holiday Bakeoff and makes the biggest and most awesome gingerbread house he's ever made in his life.
As he adds the finishing touch, STB stands at awe of his masterpiece. Looks like that dinner with the Emperor is in the bag.
Viewing large is always fun, too. Just click on the image.
The Tate Moodern is an exciting new gallery. Unlike the copycat gallery Tate Modern, the original Tate Moodern only exhibits MOO MiniCards.
Furthermore, for reasons that have never been clear, the gallery is visited only by Star Wars characters, in their Lego forms.
Interestingly, we note that Droids always go for the colourful ones, whereas Stromtroopers are drawn to dramatic, Wagnerian imagery such as hawks.
These pictures aren't my best, I'm realizing I need to get a new lens if I'm gonna start taking shots of stuff like this on the regular
Regardless these models are awesome if you're into scifi military stuff, they're like a mix of star wars stromtroopers and kerberos panzer cops, they've got a nice range of figures, I've ordered their infantry and accessory sets but they're taking forever to get here
Elite S.trooper: "What is your opinion about the new Star Wars movie?"
Stromtrooper: "I have a bad feeling about this..."
With some unexpected free time on his hands, Stormtrooper Bruce decides to escape to the hidden room he accidentally found behind his quarters some time ago. Abandoned for who knows how long, this Secret Hideaway has now become the perfect place for STB to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet away from everyone.
Today he decided to get familiar with the skateboard his friends gave him for Christmas. Of course a skateboard isn't fun unless you have a huge weapon to hang on to.
And of course, the soldier side in him is wondering if this might actually be useful the next time they come up against those Rebels? The STB side of him hasn't quite grasped that standing still on a skateboard is not quite the same as being in motion on one.
Stromtroopers are busy every day harassing the locals and bringing in possible rebels for questioning.
To make up for his questionable behavior during their last movie night, for Valentine's Day Stormtrooper Bruce decides to make amends by catering to his BFF's every whim. He's gone all out with food, drink and decorations in hopes they will appreciate and forgive him.
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!
Viewing large is always fun.
