”We finally got through the last brigade of stormtroopers. The last thing we had to do is get to the main controls, shut down empire signal and input rebel ones, and we had to free all of the Anzat workers. Once we got to the main controls there was a few stormtroopers left. I told Rev to evacuate the prisoners while I got the stormtroopers. I ran up to one of them at stabbed them in the abdomen and at the same time fired a blast at the other trooper who was trying to escape. Once I fired that shot I began to think, maybe there is some hope out there for us rebels…
Stromtrooper #5512 show his junior where the Death Star is on a stary night. "There, the Death Star! I used to work with Lord Vader on board. He was such a jerk boss !"
He told the junior all about his work in the battle station.
"Maybe one day you will follow my footstep and work there too." Stormtrooper looked at his junior with his masked eyes, with hope.

CDV made by Otto Hoeffke, a photographer in Berlin, without question the favourite photographer of the Garde-Reserve-Pionier-Regiment.
The regiment was formed in April, 1916 by merging the III. and IV. Guard Pioneer Battalions, respectively having 8 and 2 companies. Two more companies were created, making the unit Regiment sized. Pictures of this specialty unit are only scarcely met and it's members can be recognized by the Totenkopf sleeve patch, which was introduced late July, 1916. An insignia exclusively worn by these "Flammenwerfer Truppen" or flame-thrower troops. In fact they were indeed flamethrower pioneers indeed, as the German army was the first to introduce the new weapon in battle. Many of the men serving in this elite regiment were once fire fighters, or soldiers handpicked from other pioneer units that experimented with flamethrowers. These pioneers were also trained in stromtrooper tactics, as they advanced together in the first attack wave, to take out enemy strong points.
The CDV is dated 1918 and the soldier is wearing his M1915 Friedensrock or peacetime jacket in field gray, with black collar and cuffs, with white litzen. He did of course make sure that his dove-grey greatcoat is not covering the skull and crossbone patch on his sleeve. He is also wearing the leather spiked pioneer helmet with Guard eagle wappen and star. They were authorized to wear a black Haarbusch for parade purposes.
I'm pleased to have this one.

Yes sportsfans, as March Madness sweeps the nation, basketball tournaments are heating up all over the galaxy.
Today we meet the basketball team from Stormtrooper High, the SuperTroopers! Everything is on the line as they attempt to win the title for their school for the first time.
Tomorrow we will meet the visiting team... ;)

Generally when collectors think of Vintage Star Wars figures two numbers come to mind; the first 12 and the last 17. The Jawa here is part of the former released in late '77 early '78 depending on who you go by. He came in either a vinyl cape (similar to that of Old Ben save for the size) or the well-tailored cloth robe seen here. If I had to guess I'd say the cloth was a production change in order to offer the toy-buying parents of the lates '70s a little more bang for thier $2 seeing as he's so tiny a figure. Personally I sort of prefer them without any cape at all as the actual figure does the job nicely on its own, but nonetheless here he is in all his unabiding disgusting glory. This is actually one of my favorite figures from the Original 12 in general second to maybe the Stromtrooper.
Ted swears he saw the ghost of Obi-Wan Kenobi haunting the hallway last night. The others think he's been sniffing his armor polish again.

Whispers of "Dead man walking" rang around the office as Jimmy stepped in. He had sent a lengthy email the night before to his colleague Tom saying how Lord Vader was a "disfigured son of a b**** hiding behind a hideous mask", among other boldly used words to describe their boss. But unbeknownst to him, still, he had clicked 'Reply all' when replying to Tom's farewell message to the office.
According to Thomas Wictors excellent book on Flamethrower troops of the German Empire, this is a picture of a charge during nightfall where Flamethrowers were used to provide a smoke curtain for the stromtroopers to advance.
The squad can be seen on the right of the picture. The only thing that does make me think that it is a 'training' picture, is that themen of the Flammenwerfer-squad is wearing field caps, rather than steel helmets as I would except in real combat (as worn by the soldiers in the trench).

I have been to Taiwan and Hong Kong for 11 days. Just before the departure I received 1/144 RG RX-78-2 Gundam (My third one), 1/144 HG Titanium Finish Sinanju and Robot Damashii (ROBOT魂) Side MS-09 Dom A.N.I.M.E. figure and I hand-picked the rest of toys and souvenirs from Taipei Taiwan and Hong Kong. Be in the happening places like Hong Kong and be able to buy things I love at lower prices is a fantastic thing but I have reconfirmed that is much better shop on-line at home comfortably is much better way considering the other facts such as transportation, accommodation, time spotting the right ones at the right place at the right time and actually carrying them around guarding packages fiercely from being damaged in transit, etc. Some toys and souvenirs were already given away before I took this photo. Anyway I had a real good time and each item has its own toy story.
Who knew Darth Vader was a Goofaholic??? He showed up in one of my meetings complaining that the stromtroopers don't take him seriously anymore. I laughed. He got angry. Don't make a Goofy Darth Vader mad, trust me.

The Rubics Cube was a bit too tough to crack, so the Stromtroopers decided to cheat.

Everyday I come from the daily grind and face the daily struggle for inspiration. Tonight was particularly hard, it took about 4 hours to come up with the idea and about 20 minutes to setup and photograph. Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not complaining as I enjoy the challenge and want to take a great shot everytime.

It's official - Darth Vader has Scottish roots and was back visiting the homeland over the weekend for the Scotland-Ireland rugby game!
These guys created quite a stir as they walked up the Royal Mile in Edinburgh on Saturday. Ultimately, 'the Force' wasn't with them, and they had to go back to a galaxy far, far away, empty-handed!
Its seems Steve has caught the attention of Lord Vader this year much to the dismay of the other troopers.

A while back, the graffiti and toy custom master riot68 and I worked out a customs trade - he'd make me a trexi custom, and I'd make him a Rogue Trooper custom of his very own, based off the one I had already done.
Well, riot68 blew my socks off when he fulfilled his end of the bargain and, he sent me this.
This is my half of the bargain. I was going to do a different helmet design, but I decided to keep him in the same regiment as mine for signature sake. I fashioned two custom blasters for this one, chopping up the clone rifles and affixing them to blaster handles. I modified the biker scout body to have a clone head, and his helmet is removable (unlike my first version.) I used some different weathering techniques on this one, and a new utility jacket from some generic army packs from 3.5" military figures.
An der Spree saß gestern ein Stormtrooper in kurzen Hosen und hat ein Buch darüber gelesen, wie richtiges Aufräumen das Leben verändert. Alles wie immer.
