I'm going to write a speech, and try and be the valedictorian.

This picture is from my end of the year trip to Ottawa. We got to stay in groups of 4 in college dorms that smelled horrible, were crappy, and yeah. BUT on the plus side, our dorm actually had all 4 chairs (some didn't...) and a microwave and a fricken fridge with a freezer! We made use of these lovely appliances by making crappy microwave popcorn and freezing our shirts (it was flipping hot in there)
Ottawa was really fun :)

My latest picture is somewhat tragic. And you’ll excuse my artistic flair, but I don’t do sad very well. I just want to inform you of this recent even.
As an ITP patient, my worst concern has come to pass. Hemorrhage in the brain.
I am undergoing treatment and condition is stable.
With all the drugs in me, mainly high doses of the steroid prednisolone bleeding will have stopped.
But I have suffered , and my motor skills are damaged especially on my right .

Vemos resaltado un trombo (verde) en uno de los vasos sanguÃneos (rojo) del cuello de esta persona, justo bajo su mandÃbula. Este vaso sanguÃneo aporta sangre al cerebro. Si empieza a coagularse, el interior de la arteria puede taponarse. Este taponamiento puede volverse inestable y explotar, causando coágulos de sangre que desencadenen un infarto cerebral. Lo investigadores están desarrollando nuevos modos para identificar estas zonas taponadas antes de que exploten para que puedan ser tratadas disminuyendo el riesgo de infarto.
La arteria carótida se ha estrechado a 4 mm de diámetro en la zona del trombo, en comparación con los 8 mm justo por debajo. Esto se considera como de riesgo moderado. Las imágenes se obtienen combinando digitalmente dos técnicas, la tomografÃa computarizada o escáner y el PET que utiliza partÃculas radiactivas para señalar el trombo.
