This is a misty spider web with just a couple drops in focus and the rest out of focus. 50mm f/1.4 wide open.
Piano strings. The action was just removed from our Steinway console upright making it possible to drop a flash inside and photograph the strings. 1:1 reproduction ratio.

A bit of a change-up here, but ran into Olivia and partner just back from Nashville to visit family in the resort-like settlement of Silver Islet on the Sibley Peninsula of Lake Superior, NW Ontario.
Macro of a portion of the neck of an electric guitar. Lighting is by a single LED light. The width of the neck at this point is 2". This macro was taken for the Macro Mondays theme of "music".
A Macro Mondays submission on the theme "Lockdown Song". To properly represent classical music I would have needed to take a macro of a symphony orchestra. So I photographed the only musical instrument I own, a classical guitar. Imagine it playing some Bach.

Ich war heute im Wildpark und habe dort die bisher besten Fotos des Jahres gemacht ;-)
(liegt aber unter anderem auch daran, dass ich nicht viel fotografieren war..)
In Ermangelung eines fertigen Tierbildes zeige ich heute daher ein Makro von einem frostigen Morgen Anfang Januar..
Dieser mit Frost bedeckte Halm hatte noch ein paar Spinnweben an sich, sodass man meint, dieser wird von diesen gehalten..
