Doesn’t it feel like it’s over? I grew up with the seasonal change in my life and I learned over the time that that part is so deeply rooted in me that I can’t live without it. I really enjoy every change to the fullest. Having said that I don’t think that I ever enjoyed winter as much as I enjoyed this one. It was the coldest one but it was great. I think that now is safe to say that it’s time for that change again. What do you think?
There are chords in the human heart- strange, varying strings- which are only struck by accident; which will remain mute and senseless to appeals the most passionate and earnest, and respond at last to the slightest casual touch.

Again, the Puente del Alamillo in Sevilla, this time I was standing on it (here from the side: flic.kr/p/2hxTM25).
The light conditions were quite sub-optimal for this kind of shot, that's why there is almost no contrast in the left part of the strings.
Glasses on the shelf in the Hive - a nice little lunch or coffee spot in Stow on the Wold!

Taken on the same morning as the previous posting as the fog lifted the dew remained and those strands are horses hair dangling from barred wire, with the sun behind and using rear-sync flash I got this image half of the droplets are out of focus but I like it that way it add more dimensions !

Five more rows to finish this sweet quilt. Large enough for a California king....The background fabric is all text and numbers. #inmystudio Inspired by Gwen Marston at a workshop two years ago.
Light was low and murky but the arching form of this grass still caught my eye as I walked the dog this evening. Time is short so this shot received the most basic of edits in Mac OS Preview & my small watermark was then added in Lightroom.

These are the blooms from a Box Elder tree (Acer negundo). The male flowers have long pink, dangling stamens. This is also one of my favourite tree flowers to photograph!
I'll respond back to your comments soon. Please have a fabulous Monday and a wonderful week too!
Best regards, Kate
Just another detail that makes up the vintage Webster piano - a technical marvel of a musical instrument. Some of this dust is probably older than I am!
