This cheap and cheerful cafe in Coventry Street, Stourbridge, was established and run for many years by the Guglielmo family, who emigrated from Italy. It was known locally as "Gug's" and was a regular hangout for pupils from the nearby Grammar School and other teenagers. It also provided a haven for people of limited resources seeking tea and warmth. The premises are still used as a cafe and restaurant : The French Connection.
