After visiting the historic Acropolis and Ancient Agora, I went to Monastiraki. Monastiraki is Athens's old bazaar area. It is like a large flee market. The neighbourhood is vibrant and interesting with delicious souvlaki. Different from Plaka, this neighbourhood is worth a visit when visiting Athens, Greece. This photo shows the typical modern street scene of Athens, Greece. It is vibrant, interesting, busy and gritty.
