The tears stream down..
Am I happy or sad?
People come and go, some leave for days/months some forever!
I connect with people on many levels, a simple compliment can bring tears of happiness.
A disaproving glance on the street can knock me back in my shell.
Am I happy or sad? Well you decide.

Last summer I was on my second mammoth road trip, this time was Norway.....just the South! It was a very flexible trip given that we were self contained in a van. What is part of the joy of it is the random arrival at a beautiful location by chance...at the right time.
This picture is a case in point. Nice location with broken cloud and occasional rain......and a rainbow. It was there for only about two minutes, which was just enough time to snap it......and my wife to miss it as she had her head buried in a book. I had to promise my wife I'd be quick by only taking one lens!
This is the the other side of the mountain I referred to in my last picture on Flickr.
Shot with a Nikon D800, using a Nikon 24-70 @ 24mm, f16 for 1/8th second, tripod.

Went way out into the Cascades yesterday on a shoot and crossed this stream on the way.
This was the stream at the bottom of the hill where the cottage was. It's possibly Heron Beck that gives the cottage a name, but I haven't looked it up yet!
A stream running through the forest on Sula just above kjellingset. Kjellingset has been inhabited by people for more than 1000 years with documentation of farming activities dating back to 1603. This river runs through the settlement and the stream was once the site of a water-mill.
Glad you stopped by, comments and criticisms are, as always, much appreciated.

~ for my kid brother on his *\\*th birthday!
'I wander these winds, boundless and clear,
and the headlong rush of autumn streams.
Rivers and mountains open forth,
with dazzling sun and clouds before me.
Twilight's clarity infuses everything.
Nature fills me with rapturous joy.'

Cheonggyecheon is a 5.8 km stream flowing west to east through downtown Seoul. This was originally a natural stream but was covered over during Korea's rapid post-war economic development and became a major road for many years.
Then in 2005, a massive urban renewal project on the site restored the stream and created a long, modern public recreation space that is popular with residents and tourists.

Cheonggyecheon Stream 청계천 is a nearly 6 km long, modern public recreation space in downtown Seoul, South Korea. The massive urban renewal project is on the site of a stream that flowed before the rapid post-war economic development required it to be covered by transportation infrastructure.
