Geest Line has operates between the UK and the Caribbean for more than 60 years and today carries more cargo between Europe and the Windward and Leeward islands than any other shipping line.

The origins of the service lie in the shipment of bananas eastbound. Instead of the ships returning in ballast, it provided the perfect opportunity for establishing a general cargo service carrying everything from small packages to large project machinery.

This location opened on November 22nd, 2017 and relocated here in fall 2019; it was originally an Alltell, which opened in 2000. It became a T-Mobile in the early 2010s, which relocated here on November 9th, 2017, and became Rootz in 2020.

We found this pretty stream with some much needed shade during our early summer trip to Arkansas.

Sunlight on ancient rocks and young growth. Darkness beyond.

Most water sources in this region run intermittently over distance and varying greatly by season. Here is a dry stretch of the stream in the canyon, looking deceptively like a path. One can walk along the rocks at the stream bottom, but the going is more difficult than the foot path which is just out of frame.

Printed off a free 10 mile walk around Crowborough for a change. It was very good lots of different paths and a few minor roads but very enjoyable. Lots of byeways and paths through woods and passed some very impressive houses.

One of the woods had a stream running through it and I had a tough climb down the ghyll to get this image.
