Thousands of caught leaves on the surface of this stream in Tasmania, held in place by the fallen tree.
Saw this while driving down a country road, stopped and shot quickly from my car. Just seemed peaceful and it trickled down through the woods. Taken from the driver's seat looking out the passenger window. Not the best quality due to lens/TC combo I had on but wanted to capture it and didn't want to take time to change lenses. :)
Hope everyone is safe and well!
Last year was the first time I shot this place and ever since I couldn't wait until it came back around. The flowers will likely be back within 2 weeks. This is the only stream I know that features the more colorful Catawba Rhododendron along the banks as opposed to the more white colored Rosebay or Great Rhododendron that is commonly found. This stuff goes on for miles and even up the little tributaries. Once the Catawba runs it's course up through the mountains then the spring wildflower blooming will basically be done for my area. It's been a whirlwind spring.
Be sure to view on black.

The stream that flows between the hills of Parkhouse and Chrome nr. Glutton bridge in the Peak district.
Looking over the Cheonggyecheon restoration in Seoul, South Korea. This design overseen by EDAW (AECOM?) daylit a stream long buried by a highway. The stepping stones over the water are a wonderfully bold move, along with the lack of handrails. This treatment makes for an authentic and accessible experience.
there were 22 different mills along the stream in Readfield Maine, including a couple of grist mills, a sawmill, a cotton mill, a wagon shop, a box and barrel factory, and a cheese factory, and all used mechanical power to fashion their goods
I was streaming L'Immortelle (1963), directed by Alain Robbe-Grillet and I got this glitch. The photograph was taken with my phone.

STREAM OF CONSCIOUSNESS
You cannot stand in the same stream twice said Heraclitus
Panta rhei, panta rhei, panta rhei
everything flows, all entities move, nothing remains still
Nor can any shadow be cast on the same stream twice
Yet the shadow persists while there is light behind the body
Say I
