Stream flowing through the wood down through the gardens and into the river beyond. We own the land and have fishing rights but the riverbed belongs to the Crown Estates whilst the actual river is managed by the regional water authority.

Just outside of Auckland on the west coast, there is a place called Karekare.The stream runs in two ways. This is from the topside of the stream after heavy rains.
A salmon stream calls for you to catch your limit before winter sets in.

From the bridge near the Walthamstow Wetlands visitor centre.
The water plants appear to be water lilies - the flow of the stream is evidently a bit stronger than is ideal for them.
Amazing colours of these fast running waters of Mawddach river just fifty yards before it will drop down in a series of spectacular waterfalls. Snowdonia National Park, Ganllwyd, North Wales

Wild stream, soaked leaves
In the light between the trees
Water flowing, source of life
Cutting the land like a knife
Racing here, racing there
Drops they leap into the air
Chased by rays, sent through the trees
Onto the wild stream, and sunken leaves
Wild wetness, i watch it go
Out of a crack, i see it flow
Over the rock, that does rise
Hard as steel under the skies
Soaked with juices. natures cream
That spurts wildly, as it does stream

Where the wetness flows and does race
A tributary to the Merced River winds its way through the Yosemite Valley on a cold winter day in California's Sierra Mountains.
