Unfortunately, it was raining and the carp streamers were not swimming. Underneath the black net is a water channel where wasabi is grown.

This is a natural shot taken of a feather floating on almost pitch black water. The reflection and highlights are also natural. Shot on an overcast day.
I am completing the Feather shoot for an LA showing. This is one of the images selected for the show.
For those of you asking, my surgery is scheduled for this Tuesday at noon. They are working on my right carotid artery at an area just above the collar bone. Will be in hospital for a couple days.

Streamers
This is the main lobby rotunda at the Florida state capital. Apparently many high schools in the state were invited to do streamers depicting things that were important to them. The result was three stories of a colorful display.
During the thunderstorm on the night of June 10, 2022, over central Evia isl., Greece, there were many CA (Cloud-to-Air) lightning. In one of them, it was possible to capture the corona discharge with its distinct blue/purple color. These purple filaments/streamers are created due to high values of the electric field (high enough to ionize air molecules, mostly nitrogen). In this image, I've done a "double zoom in" so one can easily observe this phenomenon. Sigma Art lens 20 mm (big frame), 85 mm (smaller frames), at f/1.4 and iso 20-40k.

Voor de derde keer op een stek in Lelystad Noord een poging gewaagt een gloednieuwe ICNG treinstel tijdens afname/test rit Alstom-NS op de Hanzelijn op de foto te zetten.
Afgelopen winter,en gister op dinsdagmiddag, 17,oktober,2023,stond ik tevergeefs te wachten,maar vandaag woensdagmiddag 18,oktober,2023,is het eindelijk gelukt ICNG die o.a.Steenwijk-Lelystad Centrum reed te kunnen fotograferen!
Betreft een test rit ivm. treinstel overnemen van Alstom naar de NS.Er kunnen tijdens deze rit mankementen ect.voorkomen/zichtbaar worden.
