Natures tears, see them fly

Out from the depths of the hidden eye

See them ride the waves and flow

Along the stream, watch them go

Swimming the waters and stones that lie

Deep in the depths of the hidden eye

a pretty little stream running through Penticton.

Two shots layered because I could not get the proper exposure balance out of one shot. The highlights were burning out so I had to layer the exposures to get the result I wanted.

Down in the coppice this evening.

I just got back from 2 weeks on the Isle of Wight and working my way through the images.

One evening as the tide was going out I headed to Newtown (one of my favourite parts of the island) and as I crossed over the bridge I saw this.

At first I was disappointed it wasnt high tide but actually, I much prefer this with the snaking sliver of water weaving around the mudbanks and beautifully coloured grasses.

The stream is part of the lades created to bring water from the lochs to cotton mills in 18th century

The stream by our house. The sky was blue and the sun was shining this day, as you can see. :-) I love what it does to the water.

Found this wonderful little forest stream while out in Alberta. It looked good in its natural state, but in my opinion, it looked even better cross processed. Enjoy!

The frozen stream was full of patterns, so I tried to find compositions in different areas. These two photos reminded me of abstract charcoal drawings. I didn't convert these to black and white; this was as colorful as it got.

Stream cutting under the snow on Mt Seymour.

Why is the rush or gurgle of stream water so mesmerizing? Always a gift.
