The first real Wimmera storm of the 2017/2018 Spring / Summer period seen here doing its thing over the small farming town of Rupanyup

You can see storms coming in the hills of Puglia. They can be sudden and intense in the summer time. This storm washed out roads and in a few minutes I saw lighting strike a near by wind farm six times.

One Of The Best Storms I Have Ever Seen

We got some of the effects of Hurricane Sandy here in Buffalo, New York. Not nearly as bad as those who were hit right on the coast lines, but just enough to have some cool looking clouds.

Nikon d5100, edited in camera RAW mode with Photoshop cs6. I did not desaturate this.

Had lots of rotation in this system as Jen and i were heading to Jen's parents in Sycamore we choose to go 169 to 400 to avoid the storm we drove thru some heavy rain!
