This pre-lockdown day back in March was the last time I managed to photograph a steam locomotive... GWR Small Prairie 2-6-2T 4555 steams towards Staverton on the South Devon Railway during a Timeline Events photo charter.
The summer front comes over Bird Island after a hot, windy day in the 90's. Tornado warnings are out, so of course I am standing in the yard taking pictures.

When I first viewed this scene the rainbow was just beginning to show itself, and then it was gone in the blink of an eye. As I remember I was only able to get three images with my camera set for one stop over and under.
