When I was young we rarely had ice storms. It was usually just snow. In the past 5 years we have had several of these ice storms. It is very frustrating because our driveway is on a downward slope. I got some "ice melt' this year, but I am not sure if I have enough...

I have no idea how to capture lightning, so any tips would be appreciated!

It was amazing to see how many chasers where out chasing this storm. Literally saw 7 miles of bumper to bumper. I am sure their was a mix between chasers and locals, but still was crazy to see and be in. I got a little break off a side road with no cars when we were watching this cell go over us.

A late winter storm brewed up over Brisbane, so Vince and I headed to the Shorncliffe to see how it developed. It's the first time I've used Shorncliffe Pier for this purpose - I doubt it'll be the last! That's Vince holding onto his cap in the teeth of a very stiff breeze. 29 August 2021.

one of the best things about l.a in the winter is/are the storms that come in off of the pacific (at least i assume that’s where they come from).

they come in, batter the city for a day or two, and then go away, leaving l.a scrubbed clean and clear.

This shot was taken off the main roads in Northeast Colorado. The storm seen approaching dumped lots of rain in the area. I just made it back to the main road when it broke, but ended up having to wait about an hour before the rain let up enough to drive safely.
