I'm so pleased I didn't miss him! Was just taking a shot when he stooped for something for his supper. I'd guess he was successful because he stayed down, didn't return to hovering for at least the 20 minutes it took me to walk from the field!

I've added a black arrow pointing to his whereabouts!

Stoop: a small raised platform, approached by steps and sometimes having a roof and seats, at the entrance of a house; a small porch.
