Pattern: Cookie A's Twisted Flower Socks modified in to a knee-high version.
Yarn: Valvilla Modella (65 %polyamide, 35 % wool; 50 g=160 m), 120 g.
Needles: 2,0 mm.
I love these! An absolutely beautiful cable and lace pattern from Cookie A, yet again.
I'm a big fan of knee-high socks and find them to be more versatile and useful than basic ankle-high socks. Therefore I made some modifications to the pattern. I'm so happy with the result, yay! :D
These silky stockings are wonderfully soft and smooth; they're truly a delight to touch and caress. I can't keep my hands off them and maybe you want to feel them too? You're welcome to try as long as you're gentle and respectful. To be fair I'd really love some sweet tender caresses...
This Ravens stocking was hanging on the door at my friend's house a few weeks ago. Today they will be playing against the Denver Broncos in the second round of the NFL playoffs. My purple photo last Sunday must have helped them win (hah), but this week will be a lot harder. Today we have to play away, in Denver where it is only 15 degrees out, against the best team in our conference. A tall order for sure, but there is always hope!

I ended up finding some cute black fabric with see through swirls/flower pattern I got a while ago I had forgotten about to make some stockings for the outfit :D
Stockings I made for my brother's family in 2011. Names are embroidered on them though I've blurred them here. Pattern is McCall's 2991. Fabrics are from Hobby Lobby, Wal-mart, and at least one Kona quilting solid. Embroidery from Urban Threads and Planet Applique.
Today I finished some Christmas Stocking for some of our "little" friends! I used Natalie Ross' pattern from the her new book " Get Red Red Ready for Christmas". If I was to make these again I would make them a little wider, these are only 5" wide when finished which means only small or thin presents will fit. I'm still happy with them though!

From the back my satin teddy and sweet silky bum look nice too. Best of all in this view are the glowing stockings though, and in particular the lacy stocking tops with the seams neatly in place at the backside were they belong. As a bonus all is visible as a reflection in the window also, so you get two Paula's for the price of one. That's a great deal, so feel free to come inside, help my financial situation a bit and then feel those silky stockings and that satin body for yourself. I'll make sure it's money well spent!

I started these as the sample socks for Toe Up 2 at a Time. Then I realized how thick they were. I decided to add fun fur to the tops, and make stockings for my nephews unborn twins.
Just an obsession with a new pair of shoes i bought that day. Took a picture with one of my favourite stockings.
