I think I will try the pattern again with a different yarn. The yarn I used wasn't the best for tihs project, but I like the pattern.
I try to do socks two at a time, to avoid one sock syndrome. Same w/ these stockings.
So I paused after finishing the turndown, to start the second stocking.
As a result I'm sick to death of the floret pattern, which requires rigourous counting.

A delicate little pull upwards on this stocking top will align both stocking tops better. I've done this so often that I can do it without even looking: the no-look stocking adjustment move. Of course you are free to look and even welcome to help with re-arranging my stocking tops if you wish. After all sweet teasing and seduction and a bit of excitement and fun is the whole point here.
My mom made the christmas stockings that we still use today, so I thought I would continue that tradition. The one on the left is Skyler's and mine is on the right. I'm still working on the baby's.
