Reinforced toe stockings

Let Christmas begin! We always start with the stocking stuffers at Kathy's parents. Savanah's was over flowing with trinkets and she was as happy as can be about it.

Vintage embroidered linen tops the stocking

I made these stockings for the divas. Originally, there were only three...but they gave me a hard time when I hadn't made one for myself.

Reinforced toe stockings

I purchased my floss for the embroidery on the stockings -- now, I just need to cast on for the stockings themselves!

My mom made Carson's stocking. My whole immediate family has snowmen, so she made him one, too. Our family stockings are one of my favorite traditions (and are the reason my mom taught me to knit)!

finished sewing just in time for Christmas

These mini stockings are sweet little ornaments, decorations, or even money holders or gift toppers. Beautiful floral designs are conscientiously cut to lend themselves to my original stocking pattern.

Each one is unique and repurposed from a vintage hankie. Half lined inside with the same pattern and topped off with a bit of vintage ric rac for the hanger.

They measure 3 inches at the top, 2.25 inches in the middle, 4.5 inches across the foot, and almost 5 inches high.
