Pattern: Stockings with Form-Fitted Arch from Meg Swansen's Knitting (rav link)
Yarn: handspun 2 ply worsted weight wool from Spritely Goods batts. 6.5 oz./approx. 380 yards
Needle: 3.25mm
Size: knee socks in US9
I altered the gauge so had to change the arch shaping a bit. I started with only 2 sts. between the increases and stopped when there were 2 sts. between the decreases.
Obviously on a sunny hot day I wear a miniskirt. It is cute, nicely cool and short enough to show you my lacy stocking tops.
Here are our unstuffed stockings. I still can't believe I got a insect repellent/clock thing. Someday though it will come in handy and everyone will be jealous.
