Pattern: Stockings with Form-Fitted Arch from Meg Swansen's Knitting (rav link)

Yarn: handspun 2 ply worsted weight wool from Spritely Goods batts. 6.5 oz./approx. 380 yards

Needle: 3.25mm

Size: knee socks in US9

I altered the gauge so had to change the arch shaping a bit. I started with only 2 sts. between the increases and stopped when there were 2 sts. between the decreases.

That's the most intense elf stocking I've ever seen.

CHRISTMAS, Christmas...christmas.

Obviously on a sunny hot day I wear a miniskirt. It is cute, nicely cool and short enough to show you my lacy stocking tops.

Here are our unstuffed stockings. I still can't believe I got a insect repellent/clock thing. Someday though it will come in handy and everyone will be jealous.

My aunt kindly made Geoff a matching stocking this year. For some odd reason mine looks bigger and dirtier. Herm. I guess having it made in 1978 (or so) ages it a bit...

I always wear hold-up stockings, preferably the thin silky kind with wide lace stocking tops like these ones. Such stockings make me feel so feminine and sensual and they really make my legs look so much prettier.

These Antelopes are highly social & very fast runners. They are now largely restricted in Kenya to the Maasai Mara & are creatures of grassland habitat.

The unusual & striking colour patterns on the legs reminded me ( & others) of stockings .
