Macro Monday Theme: Run
I've been away for the weekend with extended family and had a busy week prior so didn't have time to be particularly creative. So a very quick & focused shoot again this morning: running stitch on my denim jeans, I do love a bit of denim!
Always appreciate your favourites and comments. HMM to everyone!
... I thought I'd create a dramatic picture for this week's up and coming theme ... now I know why they call it cross stitch!!!
For this week's Macro Mondays theme "Stitch", I was lucky to spot this element of a patchwork created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the U3A, Kingston upon Thames.
Single stitch on a tissue box cover.
5:1 reproduction ratio plus crop for an approximate 10:1 effective ratio. The stitch is about 2.5mm long.
Flash is 45-degrees toward the subject camera left.
Version 2 of Stitch is on LEGO Ideas. Stitch can easily be transformed into his abomination mode by adding his extra arms, spines and evil eyes.

These were two vintage Indian embroidery booklets that I got in a tiny Indian Habberdashery in mauritius .. the entire shop was about 20 x 10 meters and had 7 sales assistants working in it ... what a find!! if any one wants a copy let me know
I always love Stitch character from the first time I saw it, and now even more since my 2 years old 2nd son have a similar behavior like Stitch...cute. like to climb up anything and like to mess up the whole house when no ones around…lol
So one of the first thing that comes up in my mind when I opened the 2x2 Dark Blue Domes was…Wow! This is the perfect piece I’ve been looking around for Stitch to be added to my Brick Buddies character collection.
The only problem is, I need 4 pcs of 2x2 Round Blue Tiles that are rare and I have order it from Denmark’s Bricklink Store, though I made the order on the first week of this month but untill today it haven’t arrive yet, on the other hand I have to share this today since I have my other planned builds that are on my list. For sure for my own satisfaction I’ll be taking another shot once the tiles arrive.
Update: 17 October 2015, new shot with the 2x2 round tile blue for the top of the head :)
It’s my 18th entry for Iron Builder competition vs. Gilcelio Chagas. The secret ingredient for this round is 2 x 2 Domes in Dark Blue.

My Leather couch in the living room. It has a lot of great texture. Have a wonderful holiday week. HMM.
I know that a lot of re-ment collectors are strongly opposed to Disney re-ment, but while I do agree that there should be a good mixture of sets with and without Disney collaboration, I must say that the Stitch cooking set contains a lot of really cute and detailed pieces. Everyone who liked Stitch even a little bit should give it a try in my opinion ;)
Something strange happened with my pink Stitch cupcake... it misses the lower part ;__; It is possible that I lost it when opening the plastic, but I looked everywhere- and when I wanted to take off the lower part on one of the otehr cupcakes, I couldn't get it off... so this is probably really a factory error.
I made this stitching with french style stitch. Took me about 2 months to do this ( about 2 hours a day ).The size is 160cm X 195cm. The pattern I bought in France long long time ago.
I had a really strange thing happen today. I was working in our sunroom, trying to rearrange things so I can put up the Christmas tree. I walked over to one of the tables out there, and in a small dish . . . there was a tiny bear! Ken swears he didn't put her there and we have no idea where she came from, but I have a feeling that my daughter, Jamie, gone these 14 years, sent her as a Christmas surprize for me. Magical thinking? Any way you stack it up, it was sent by angels to cheer me up during this holiday season.
The one little paw has tiny writing on it- "This bear is handmade with 607 loving stitches. 1995" (Though it looks like 1945, I am pretty sure it's 1995.)
Happy Teddy Bear Tuesday
