This is a Macro Focus Stack so the Foreground and background were in focus.

Garment makers like to make stitching invisible, so I struggled to find any garments where the colour of the thread did not match the colour of the garment. But in the end I came across this stitching by which the collar of a cycling jersey was attached - white on black with bits of yellow and red.

... I thought I'd create a dramatic picture for this week's up and coming theme ... now I know why they call it cross stitch!!!
From our relocation trip across the US... again :) This time we took i40. waaaay better. This was from a quick stop (15mins!) at the Meteor Crater near Flagstaff Arizona. Still experimenting with some of the stitching. This one could use a bit more work, have a couple others to work with. More versions to follow.

Macro Monday Theme: Run
I've been away for the weekend with extended family and had a busy week prior so didn't have time to be particularly creative. So a very quick & focused shoot again this morning: running stitch on my denim jeans, I do love a bit of denim!
