This year’s student production, The 39 Steps, was directed by Phillip Heilbron I and with a cast of six managed to blend Hitchcock, Monty Python, and James Bond.

Tarr Steps is a medieval clapper bridge over the river Barle which spans the fifty-five foot river in seventeen spans of flat stone. Close by are burial mounds of Bronze Age men from 5,000 years ago.

At the top these steps are quite hazardous. The top step is cut about 30cm into the pavement. Anyone walking close to the fence could easily lose their footing and fall sideways onto the steps which are steep and narrow with nothing much to stop someone coming all the way down. It's been the same for years and I've never heard of anyone taking a tumble

Strange thing to take a picture of but I think it is kinda "cool" (pardon the pun).
