Stem Cell Panama at Stem Cells And Regenerative Medicine is focused on the applied research of regenerative medicine, being specialized in the use of stem cell therapies. Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine continues research and treatment can improve the quality of patients lives, when suffering from certain diseases.
Another view showing the logo. The stem turned out to be a good length on my Bob Jackson bike. Rescued from a discard bin of a local bike shop, it was found in very scarred condition, but it cleaned up nicely after the anodizing was removed. The expander bolt was still in fine condition. Always nice to rescue damaged goods.

Stem cells have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body during early life and growth.

NAS Oceana and the Virginia Beach City Public School (VBCPS) system have once again partnered to provide every fifth-grader enrolled in Virginia Beach City Public Schools (VBCPS) the opportunity to take a one-of-kind field trip to Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, Friday, Sept. 15. The special Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Lab Day, was part of the annual Air Show. This event is being provided free of cost for all students and every child had a chance to take part in hands-on activities and learn about STEM careers in a real-world setting. This included displays and exhibits from NASA Langley, the Office of Naval Research and Naval Research Laboratory, Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, Wesleyen University, Engineering for Kids, Old Dominion University, Landstown High School, Navy history and heritage command, U.S. Naval research laboratory and Virginia Department of Transportation.

Colorized macro photo of a plant stem, which has been duplicated and flipped, similar to a double-exposure. You can see the plant cells in the tiny hairs that protrude off the main stem. Closeup taken with a zoom lens that has a 50mm lens attached backwards on the end, plus flash.
Native yearlong-green perennial tufted C3 grass; stems are hairy, wiry, branched and grow 10-50 cm tall, arising from short densely woolly rhizomes. Leaf blades are short and widely diverging from the stems and have constricted collars. Flowerheads are short spike-like racemes 2-6 cm long; the stem directly below the flowerhead is hairy. Spikelets are 4.5–7.5 mm long, 1.6–2 mm wide and 2-flowered; the middle and upper spikelets are hairy; glumes are longer than the lemmas and covered in distinctive patterns of warts and tubercle-based bristles. Flowers mostly in spring and autumn. Often found on well-drained red earths and sandy or stony soils on flats and stony ridges in range of woodland and forest types. It is commonly associated with wire grasses and is most common along the western margins of the Slopes and on the Plains. Native biodiversity. An indicator of good pasture condition. Drought, fire and frost tolerant. Even though it is a wiry grass it provides useful palatable forage, but tends to be low yielding. Most growth is in spring, but it can grow year-round if moisture is available; growth tends to be prostrate in winter and erect in summer. Seed production and survival declines with heavy grazing; young plants often die if more than half of their growth is removed; these are then commonly replaced by less desirable wire grasses.
