The final piece of my wire and yarn jewellery, using Rowan yarn kidsilk haze in both anthracite and smoke, as well as 0.315 silver plated jewellery wire.
This piece has won me £200 worth of yarn from Rowan Yarns and they want to buy the pattern for £100 :)

One of my most awesome pieces ever: my Diversity Necklace!
While creating this AMAZING piece of wearable true art, I closed my eyes and let my inner intuition artistic spirit guide me. The result was this fully functioning expression of artistry, wearable AND also stands up by itself, thus serving as a thought-provoking necklace/art piece, and a movable mixed media sculpture.
Stunning, one of a kind, sea life statement necklace is sure to be an attention grabber. Stark white high quality freshwater potato pearls along with antiqued brass bicone beads, bronze dyed freshwater potato pearls, and brilliant deep purple round crystal beads surround beautiful, large eco-friendly harvested sea urchin spines that have been sealed with a clear acrylic sealant. A lovely patterned, antique brass toggle clasp makes for easy of wear.

Graffiti like this is pretty common -- you see it on bridges and train stations and other places all over Germany. I particularly like it when it has hints of schoolboy cursive, like this graffiti on a train bridge in Neuwied.

I thought this was really neat. A customer brought us this statement from 1945. I don't know why they kept it all this time.
This is almost sarcastic at this point. It snowed & blowed all day but thankfully the temp stayed high enough to keep the roads wet & bare. That could be a different story tonite as we drop below freezing.
