First try star stacking.
Star trails from Monument rock at Pyramid lake in Nevada. The image was taken with a Rokinon 8mm f3.5 on a K5ii. It is twelve 5 minute exposures taken with a Vello Shutterboss intervalometer and stacked with the Startrails program. The ISO was 3200 at f5.0.
First time startrail with a single exposure.

The view from our campsite on an island in Lake Mijinimungshing in Lake Superior Provicial Park - 9 September 2012.
This whole sky star trails image was taken on the evening of Sept 20th, 2025, during second day of Lika Star Party. The image was produced by combing 431 individual exposure totaling 3h and 35 minutes. Imaging time was long enough to show movement of Polaris, which is not actually at the north celestial pole, but it is offset for 45 minutes of arc (3/4 od degree) .

431x30s exposure at ISO 1600.
Processed in Sequator, Siril and Photoshop.
Taken from Oxfordshire, UK with an astronomy modded Canon 1100D on a static tripod. The subs were ISO-800 for 30 seconds at f/3.5. Images stacked using StarStaX and processed in Lightroom and Fast Stone Image Viewer.

Taken from Builth Wells, Wales overnight 10th/11th August, during the Solarsphere Astronomy & Music Festival. Astro-modded Canon 1100D with 18-55mm kit lens. ISO- for 15 seconds. Images stacked in StarStaX and processed in Fast Stone Image Viewer
Second attempt at star trails, this time at my old wire wool hunting ground. better than my first attempt but still much room for improvement. I followed advice, dropped to f3.5 and ISO 800 on a 30" exposure. 100 photos later..... (I also used a torch to highlight some of the building, not sure if it worked well but trial and error succeed)
I attended David and Kane's star-trail course on Monday night, and here is my attempt at stacking multiple 30 sec exposures.
