Startrail formado por 5 tomas de aprox 500 s cada fotografia, en total 2444 segundos.
ISO100 f8 20 mm

There was time before our guests arrived for the annual
sylvester illumination. So I trie to catch the startrails from our balcony. Polaris is just a bit further on the left but unfortunately the edge of our house is blocking the wideangle view. another lens will bet tried next in a clear night
My second attempt at capturing startrails.
190 exposures over the course of 50 minutes at F8, 15s, ISO200, plus one at 5s for the foreground.
Processed in Lightroom and stacked in Photoshop.
Taken with the Samyang 20mm F1.8 and using a Rollei 100mm light pollution filter.
The mausoleum's illumination and city lights coming in from the left made it difficult to get an overall correctly exposed photo and still capture a fair amount of stars. I do like the result, though, and enjoy having it framed on my wall.

Star Trails and Perseid Meteor Shower.
Several hours worth of photos stacked together show many Perseids Meteors despite the moon glow across the sky. Finally went through the 940 pictures I took that evening to find the ones with meteors. Unfortunately, you can also see quite a few airplane trails throughout the sky as we were right in the distant flight path for Raleigh Airport.
A lot of stretching on some of the images and I was able to find a bunch more, but they were too faint to see with the moon shining in the sky and even the camera barely picked them up. There were several really nice ones throughout the evening, but they were few and far between. Luckily I had the camera going the whole time and was able to capture most of the brighter ones.

A Rework of one of my 40min single exposure startrails. The noise in this image was pretty bad and photoshop just turned it into nasty white artifacts... www.flickr.com/photos/lanshansen/4795369069
This time ive approached it with Topaz 'Denoise' photoshop plug-in and im blown away by the results. Check out the large version.. the detail captured is incredible!
Image represents a little over an hour of earth rotation. I have a cropped image highlighting the meteor seen on right third of image. We had 3 trains go past, but camera settings were just too far off to be incorporated.
My first attempt at astrophotography! Taken with my E-M10II using Olympus's nifty "live composite" mode, which is a clever feature and makes this kind of shot as simple as possible to execute. It was a clear night, out in the country and without too much light pollution -- close to ideal conditions. But I still wasn't sure how it would turn out. I left the camera going for an hour and have to say I'm pleased with the result. The light trails from passing jets are an unexpected bonus.

I started editting this one when I got back from Jersey in June but for some reason its say unfinished till tonight.
This is 76 30s photos of Archirondel Tower on Jersey stitched together using the software from Startrails.de. I'd love to head back here again before too long as I've just bought myself a Nikon D750 and Samyagng 14mm f2.8 which should be rather good for some night time photos, not that I can get a chance to get some practice in at the moment with the rubbish weather!
Primo tentativo di startrails, 88 scatti da 30 sec. a f/4, iso 400.
