Well, what else would you do on a motorbike other than take off horizontally?

It was a beautiful day, but sadly Scott and I had to be adults and do things like grocery shop and other errands so we didn't get to enjoy as much of it as we would have liked.

But, those chores are done and now we can sit back and hopefully have a wonderful Sunday before the next work week starts up again.

Hope everyone has had a good day.

Start Point lighthouse on the island of Sanday, Orkney.

Unfortunately the lighthouse is on a little island that is only accessible 1 hour either side of Low Tide so this is as close i could get this visit.

The mushroom season in northern germany starts with porcelain fungus for me. This one i found in the Sachsenwald (saxonian forrest). The Sachsenwald is one of my favorite places, because of the many beeches. Most of them have been cut and replaced by conifers over the last centuries. But conifers don't belong here. The highest biodiversity of mushrooms is found in woods with beeches and oaks in my region.

This was my first attempt at the moving Camera, versus stationary subject muse.

I was contemplating it whilst awaiting my train, initially i was thinking... No... too dark outside... anyhow when i got on the train and we set off, the vestibule, where i was standing, was lit.... another problem, so i decided i would fit the rubber collapsing type Lens hood and hold it against the window, that would in theory, eliminate any glare on the window from the internal lighting, and i could see what happen's,

This is that result... quite happy all in all, though the driver starting to brake for the Wigan stop was not in my thinking...and almost scuppered the attempts......

From all of this, i learned one quite important thing, even though all is happening quite quickly, i should try to remember to focus on a darker area, and avoid any lit areas, easier said than done, but i think it could have made for a better image had i thought about it....

Sympecma fusca, common winter damselfly, It is one of only two species of European dragonflies that overwinter as adult insects. They start flying in February or March, on sunny days, when the temperature reaches 15 ° C. I had never seen so early in the year.

Love is the reason.

Lifelong friendship is the gift.

Kindness is the cause.

Sometimes to maintain the sacred love space you have to go back to where it all began.

This is where you first told me you loved me. This is where I first told you all my secrets. You kissed me and told me you will always have my back...

Looking back I do not know what I was expecting, but I whatever it was you have exceeded it with no effort.

You are every dream I have ever had and ever dream I will ever have. I love you with my whole heart

Cold Autumn Morning

Anyone's guess when Autumn hits Minneapolis.

Did anyone else take this afternoon off to watch the quadruple-header baseball playoffs?

This is the Push Button to turn on my Breville Convection Toaster Oven. This is a new one, I replaced my old one after several years of constant use and I would highly recommend this one. My big convection oven heats up the kitchen too much so this has been a great asset.

This photo was shot a few days ago at Prairie Oaks in Central Ohio. If you look closely, you will notice that it is actually a buck starting new antlers.
