St Peter's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. It is the seat of the Archbishop of Adelaide and Metropolitan of the Province of South Australia. The Cathedral was built between 1869 and 1879 to a design between William Butterfield & Edward John Woods.
The south front has similar features to the Cathedral of Notre Dame and the Church of St Jean-Baptiste de Belleville in Paris, including an ornate rose window above the main entrance which depicts stories of South Australia and the Bible.
Another picture taken inside the St.Peters Basillica in Rome, Italy. This one is of something beautiful standing on top of the grave of St.Peter himself and is situated in the exact middle of the "cross" in the church. In the background you can see the altar.
More than 320 brave souls took the Plunge in St. Peter on February 3, 2018 to support Special Olympics Minnesota. These Plungers raised $62,000! Photos taken by Ruth Klossner.
St Peter's Church in Ipsley, today a suburb of Redditch close to where I currently live, but formerly a small village on the Worcestershire/Warwickshire border (which over the centuries has fluctuated so that the church has stood in both counties in different periods!)
The church is essentially medieval but has been much altered and restored; the original tower and nave survive but the aisles have disappeared, leaving the curious effect of the nave arcades being left visible embedded in the outer walls, inside and out! The chancel seems to be a Victorian rebuilding.

St Peter and Paul was built in the 1840s to serve the expanding Parish of Chingford, and also to serve as a replacement for All Saints near Chingford Mount which was decaying to the point where it was unusable. All Saints, now also known as 'The Old Church', has since been restored and both churches are still in active use.

St. Peter and Paul Cathedral
St Peter's Church hidden along the northern promenade it is worth looking out for the lovely Franciscan church built by 12th-century Crusaders. The Muslims converted it into a mosque, and you can make out an area of uneven stone on the southern wall filling in the hole where a mihrab (prayer niche indicating the direction of Mecca) was carved. Later, the Turks used the building as a caravanserai before it was rebuilt as a church in 1870. . Its two features are the boat-shaped nave, a nod to St Peter's piscatorial profession, and the courtyard built by the Polish soldiers stationed here during WWII.

St. Peter's Church:
The church was built in 1654 in dedication to Saint Peter over a medieval citadel that was erected by Frederick II and restored by Louis IX of France at the beginning of the second half of the thirteenth century.
With its tall brick facade and towering belfry, St. Peter's Church is the single largest and most distinctive building in Old Jaffa. The interior of the church is reminiscent of cathedrals in Europe, with a high vaulted ceiling, stained glass windows and marble walls.
Since the large Church is located on a hill near the shore the building has, throughout its history, dominated the view of Jaffa from the sea, thus serving as a beacon, signaling to pilgrims that the Holy Land was near.

St Peter's Church stands adjacent to the grounds of the Hall. It was rebuilt in 1770 by Lord Delaval, the owner of Doddington Estate. He had spent a considerable sum on modernizing the Hall and he chose the Gothic style for his rebuilding of the church. It is described by Pevsner as "a very remarkable building".
