To finish scrubbing in the new tyres, Jill and I headed out (eventually!) of Sheffield to Monsal Head again for a cup of tea.. We went via Ringinglow, Froggatt, Calver, Hassop, Great Longstone, Wadlow and then Monsal Head.
Then heading off we went to Illam to have lunch in the garden outside the cafe at Illam Hall. We went via Cressbrook, Millar's Dale, Stendale Moor, Newhaven, Tissington and down to Illam..
After lunch headed home via Pilsey & Chatsworth and back up and over Froggatt again.. Sunny and warm all day, tyres nicely scrubbed in 60miles plus done today..
Am impressed so far with the new tyres RoadSmart 2s..! And with Jill as usual for coming along as pillion!!

Davin Saha is among Michigan Engineering’s Xplore Engineering camp participants who get to experiment with the Oobleck during the Can you Walk or Bounce on a Fluid workshop.
The Oobleck mixture isn't your typical liquid—or solid. The cornstarch-and-water mixture creates a fluid that acts more like quicksand than water: applying force (squeezing or tapping it) causes it to become thicker.
Xplore Engineering summer camp is designed for Michigan Engineering alumni and the children in their life entering the 4th through 7th grade. Through a series of experiential workshops, participants get hands-on experience in a variety of engineering disciplines. Participants can choose to participate in 6 out of 18 workshops ranging from nanotechnology to rocketry.

I was making a compound for a patient. as you can see, I am trying my best to squeeze everything out from that tube, so nothing goes to the waste.

In the Christmas season, when I was young, my brother and I used to have a wonderful time squirting orange peels into the flames of a candle. Squirt! and the flame would do all sorts of interesting things.
This set is an attempt to capture that experience photographically. It wasn't easy, because the flame effect is very quick.
They *just* all fit on othe sofa. Bambi is still feeling shy and nervous but don't worry, the other girls will look after her and make her feel welcome.

We don't have many photos of us together, since I'm always holding the camera, but I should be more prepared for it, in the future. I need to trim my beard - and my hair! You know when you have it cut and you think it'll grow back into your old style - not to worry? It hasn't. It's been this terrible for ages.
