Allyson arranged for us all to go on this 2 mile hike with a group called Tree People. Although the band "The Squeegees" was a little too Sponge-Bob for me, and the head lady was like a bad characiture from SNL, a good time was had by all.
"For Destination, I used yellow watercolor for the background. Then I tore out a map from a road atlas and glued it down.(A road atlas is handy when there is no cell or gps, like on the loneliest road in Nevada.) Bacon wanted to help, so I traced him as he made himself comfortable on the page.Next I added dots if acrylic paint and used a squeegee to smear them down.
I love traveling and we usually have a destination in mind. But sometimes those plans change and we have to go with it (I'm looking at you Calgary and your fires a few years back that kept us from Banff. But we did have great Costa Rican food in Gillette, WY and visited the beautiful and eerie Badlands instead). Anyway, I've never tried the squeegee technique, and didn't know how it would turn out, but I like it."
My film squeegee did a horrible number on this roll of film. I'm embracing the scratches since it was a toy camera roll anyway, but it's getting tossed.

We rediscovered the Sega and started playing Sonic Part 2. Mannix was so into it so he got the xbox controller and pretended to play with us. The second picture is of him using a squeegee to clean the sliding door :) we ended up having to give him a spray bottle of water just so he could keep doing it. He was there for about an hour spraying and wiping off the water. Kids find entertainment with the simplest things.
Zenit 122K w/Zenitar 50/2. Film is very expired (08/92) Svemna Foto 64, shot at ASA 25, processed in R5 monobath, and badly abused by my squeegee. This was the first roll through the camera, purchased new from Lomography. Serial number indicates that it was made in 2002.

Here we have a basic DIY Screen Printing Project (by toochieB).
You will need, a T-shirt,a squeegee or a brush, a print screen, fabric paint and a cut out stencil that says whatever you want it to say (I used my Cricut machine)
Place your stencil on the fabric exactly where you want it, place the screen on top of the stencil, make sure that the only exposed parts of the fabric is what you want painted. In the inside of the screen apply a reasonable amount of paint from one corner to the next (I prefer the two closest corners) now with the squeegee at a 45 degree angle slide the paint over the stencil with slight pressure about 4 good times. (CAREFULLY remove any excess paint with the squeegee and recycle it) remove the screen from the T-shirt and let dry… I hope you enjoy you DIY project :)

Okay, I almost pitched this one. It was too bright, and lacked detail, but I really loved something about the pic. So, I played with it. The final portrait is a far cry from this after post processing, and I'm pretty proud of it! I won't be pitching many pics until I really scrutinize them in the future!
