Coughton Court stately home - lovely sunny afternoon to be out with my late father's 6x9 bellows camera. (normalised to current temps with the Massive dev-chart app on the iPhone). These rolls were the first to be developed using guidance from www.rogerandfrances.com with their excellent advice on reduing fixing time with the spot-test (now down to 2-min fix) and using COLD water for washing to prevent emulsion scratching on final squeegee.
Heat stuck around all afternoon so I got the kids busy and they took turns watering the lawn. Some of it got on the walls of the house so my son attempted to squeegee it. The things they think of.
Miss Petunia insisted upon attending, even though I told her she might scare folks away from our cart.

The ink gets forced through the screen by a squeegee and puts the design down on the shirt. Here's a squeegee primed and ready to use.

Asphalt rubber is heated up to 500 degrees then poured into the crack. From there we use a squeegee to smooth out the crack fill and overlap the crack on either side for full coverage.
Processed and printed myself :D Unfortunatley, got a few scrathes on it.. Didn't have a squeegee :(

His art was so revoultionary because he captured and recorded photos of important and popular artists and brought them to even higher fame. "He worked with professionals to have the photos he wanted transferred onto the mesh of a silk screen. He passed an ink-laden squeegee over the mesh as the silk screen sat atop his canvas, ink would pass through the mesh and impress a print of his image onto the canvas." Yes, color is important to his work because it brings out vividness and highlights to his creativity.
These two are hanging out in our newest piece of furniture - a hammock swing. It is really comfy. The nuthatch also thinks it is great for climbing on.

Squeegee seems like most old folks on a gloomy, rainy day when arthritis and various aches and pains from old war wounds kick in! Squeeks is about 12 now, and beginning to show his age. He's still my beautiful boy!

Screen printing. The pictorial effect was obtained using a small screen printing squeegee like a palette knife to paint and pouring more colors on the frame; in particular the colors, in a chiaroscuro function, were used to emphasize the subject. Slightly misregistered prints, small smudges and uneven ink deposits are purely intentional. For the work 4 screen printing frames were used.

For some reason all the shapes, sharp colors and clean lines mixed with just how dirty the subject was all worked together in a way I just had to snap.

Here is the squeegee running the black ink across the screen and through the open areas on the screen onto the black paper.
In Germany they wipe down the chalk board with a sponge and a squeegee. Works really well actually. Dave and I worked up some clean boards for fun.
