The collapsed Communications mast of the Prinsendam just squeaked under the bridge in the background. She is the largest cruise ship to transit the Canal but has to do necessary preparations.
They live in what look like uninhabitable places - slopes covered in nothing but rock, usually right around treeline.
Your first indication they they're in there is a loud "SQUEAK!!" like somebody stepped on a yellow rubber duckie.
It's the pika, the most industrious critter we've ever seen - and maybe the cutest.

During the warm months I have morning coffee on the porch - where the cat is - that's why he's sitting there - waiting for me to come back out. He's funny.
Bubble and squeak is a traditional English dish made with the shallow-fried leftover vegetables from a roast dinner. The main ingredients are potato and Brussels sprouts, but carrots, peas, cabbages, or any other leftover vegetables can be added. The chopped vegetables (and cold chopped meat if used) are fried in a pan together with mashed potatoes or crushed roast potatoes until the mixture is well-cooked and brown on the sides. The dish is so named because it makes bubbling and squeaking sounds during the cooking process

Baby Max is my new nephew who was born was 4 weeks early while his family was trying to move cross country! He ended up being born in Utah (not California, or Minnesota where it was expected!). I got 2 scales 2 months ago in preparation of the 2 births in my family and I got to use this one early!
Squeeze this little guys and makes lots of noise!!

From left to right; The 1914 Star (Mons Star), British War Medal and Victory Medal from WW1 (Pip, Squeak & Wilfred) and the Defence Medal from WW2. The Mons Star also has "The Old Contemptibles" bar for front-line service 5th August to 22nd November 1914.

The kittens are growing by the second. I am noticing mum more and more leaving them to sleep on their own and she finds another place or waits at the door for me to come in and cuddle her. Mum cat has also become quite playful and talks me whenever I am in the room with little chirps and meows.
I have a feeling Squeaker is going to be a long-hair cat and a big one at that. It is cute to watch the kittens now as they get themselves in some of the cutest sleeping positions.
Hiccup the female of the litter has started to open her eyes and I expect my this evening they will be fully open :-)

Wonderling dolls are hand sculpted in clay then molds are made and the pieces are cast in resin.
She never used to do this. About a year ago, Teddy Bear introduced her to the power of the squeak. She's hooked.

So this is all the goodies I got from Kate the other day while visiting her shop. They needed a bit of a bath as most vintage does and now they are ready for lots of fun adventures :D
Cupcake owns the house, this is certainly true. One of my favourite pairs of shoes by Betsey Johnson. (bows with little skulls in the middle.)
