My neighbor's 16 year old dog. He loves to lie on the lawn all day so I decided to make them some portraits.

Mrs Squeakers as a baby, this little squirrel captured my heart.

She went on to have a family of her own, after her release, one of the hardest things I ever had to do was release her back into the wild. She's gone now but I'll always remember her.

Turn the volume way up and you can hear Midnight squeaking. Nothing is soothing him.

The vet couldn't find anything wrong with him beyond tooth issues that he's already being treated for and the x-rays didn't show anything, so all we can do is keep going with the medication and feedings like we were told. Midnight's favorite spot to sleep is under the rower and we don't usually let him under there since he's so nibbly that he might eat something and hurt himself. But he's not nibbling anything right now, so he gets to sleep under there as much as he wants while he's healing as long as one of us is with him to make sure he's safe.

Last night, Lucky, aka Squeaker, died...

I’m not sure if she died of natural causes or if my two cats caused her a violent death, but I found her little undamaged body not too terribly long after she passed away.

A private memorial service and burial will be held this evening in Ringwood, NJ.

From my original Fotolog post about Lucky:

06/22/04

This is Lucky.

A couple of weeks ago, the snap trap caught her under one of my co-workers` desk. It didn`t break it`s neck and was struggling. Everyone was freaked out by this poor little mouse - some shouted "kill it! kill it!", while others - men and women - whined and squealed like a bunch of crybabies.

Since it was behind a cubicle wall near the window, I grabbed a couple of paper towels, climbed over the wall and picked up the trap and the mouse. I must admit, I thought the mouse was mortally wounded and was going to pick up the dying thing and put it out of it`s misery, but it only caught her by the foreleg near the shoulder and she was struggling to get away.

I looked at her and she looked back at me and I could see she didn`t want to die - who would? - so, I got a plastic container from my desk, poked some air holes, lined it with paper towels, released the shocked little creature into the container...

Much to the shock and chagrin of my co-workers, I took her home to New Jersey, where Lucky (aka Squeaker) is recuperating in comfort. She`s even regained the use of her foreleg and lives happily on a diet of dry cat food and table scraps.

This picture was taken as I had cleaned her cage and before I added shredded tissue for her bedding.

I couldn`t kill her... and now everyone at work thinks I`m crazy.

Good.

I always find it funny to hear a harrier's little squeaky call. They look like they would have a strong hawk call, but they don't. In reality, there call is like a babies squeak toy going off.

He has the most adorable piggy squeak instead of a cry. We video-taped it during a diaper change. He HATES having his diaper changed. I think he's possessive of his poop, because he always squeaks more when we're changing a poopy diaper - even before we get around to actually taking the diaper off.

Since Squeaks is like Velcro I was wondering where the little guy was - he can't get out of the back yard anyway so when I look out the back door I find him.

R.I.P Bubble & Squeak.

This beetle seen on Samos, was in the middle of a path. We tried to move it, to avoid it getting stood on and each time it was touched, it made a loud squeak.

Squeak - of Bubble & Squeak, of course! - was another of the kittens at the rescue centre I fell in love with. They didn't have to wait long to find their new home. Bubble was black and short haired ... both were adorable!

The Taj Mahal! Eeeep!

We went to see the Taj Mahal early in the morning, and took lots of photos which have been taken millions of times before! It was amazing to see it, and I should think this will be the most tourist-y photo of me that shall ever be taken!

Later in the day we visited Lord Krishna's birth place, as well as Caroline's favouritist place from our entire trip!
