Sprites drawn on paper (circa end of the 80's). Some were copied from the TV screen from other games, others created by myself.
Most have the corresponding decimal/hex written on the page to be later used with source code.
Sprite Spring (Sprite Pool), Cascade Group, northwestern Upper Geyser Basin, Yellowstone Hotspot, northwestern Wyoming, USA in August 2011.
This feature’s geyser eruptions consist only of occasional very small splashes.

Between 12:19AM and 3:54AM, I recorded 16 weak sprites out of 1,000 exposures from a storm system about 40 miles south of Grand Island, NE (~360 miles East of Chreyenne, WY).
This weak sprite (center lower left frame), can be seen above a lightning discharge just above the house. Usually my neighbor's lights are on but I took advanage of situation with a darker horizon.
I used a 35mm f/1.4 lens @ f/2.0, iso = 800, exposure 10 secs with a 3 secs delay between frames.

Another entry in the you don't see many of these category - Ross aboard one of Frank Hipkin's 250 Sprites from 1964.
This is the FRAXY sprite set for the FS-38 Paladin. Clearly, at this size, it's difficult to tell this craft was ever LEGO at all.
