Third image from my "earth sprite/fairy" themed shoot. I also posted an outtake from this on my facebook fan page.
strobist:
one SB800 [bare] to camera right held my MUA/human lightstand pointed slightly up to subject from about head height. Distance to model about 8-10 feet. Flash at 1/2 power.
Sprites drawn on paper (circa end of the 80's). Some were copied from the TV screen from other games, others created by myself.
Most have the corresponding decimal/hex written on the page to be later used with source code.
Tindra is my first BJD. I think her wig might be almost 9 years old too but I like it so much I haven't had the need to replace it. And I guess it's still in okay condition.
Tindra might have the most complex background story of all of my dolls. Maybe because she was the first one? I still like to write stories of my dolls and everyone has their story and personality. Tindra is the most stable minded of all of my dolls and everyone trusts her since she has no reason to lie or use anyone for her own pleasure. She is also only one of my dolls who is 100% asexual.
This is the sprite sheet of the further improved moving graphics. It is a sequence of a girl who is walking her dog fish!! She loses controll of the dog fish and sne is pulled along with such forse the tumbles over.
It is best to look at this big, go to "All Sizes" at the top of the photo!!
What do you think??
I stopped by the gas station today. I had to put air in one of my tires. It's so hot I was going to grab a green tea for the road, but the new Sprite logo on the bottle caught my eye. I got both.
Why not, I was bored. And you never know, that tape drawing I have on here is the most viewed of m y drawings and it was the one I least cared about. and took the least amount of time. Why the heck don't people like the drawings I'm proud of the most?

After the faeries have been hard at work to bring Spring upon us, the Sprites wake up and tend to all the beautiful plants that are awakening. This one waters them with fantastically delicious dew ;-)
I've tried to make this look like an old photograph taken when the car was new.
It's actually a friends restored Sprite, used as his daily driver.
Sprite is a 9 week old rescue kitten. She and her 8 brothers and sisters were found in an old hollow log. She has been in her forever home for about 24 hours and has charmed her way into everyone's heart. View large if you have the time.
Small jellyfish sprite with characteristic cap (halo) and abundant tendrils. Over an active storm near Sardinia, seen from central Catalonia, Spain. October 15th, 2014.
