It was the highlight of our trip to see the Sphagnum Sprites in the bog. I so rarely get to see them.......such a special treat! A challenge to photograph but worth the effort to see them "up close and personal" :)

I found a pretty simple and highly-efficient sprite packer called ZeroSprite which can take a group of images, and output a very compact sprite image with the relevant CSS - mapping file images to class names with width and height included. Per the description, ZeroSprite uses VLSI floorplanning algorithms to do its job.

It is 22" wide by 27.5" tall. It used 6,216 beads and 17 pegboards.
It is made with Perler/Hama/Nabbi fuse beads.
I made this on November 5-7, 2010.
Notes:
PAC stands for Pixel Artist Collaboration. This sprite was made by a dA pixel artist. I was given permission in writing to make this artist's sprite out of fuse beads.
It was nice out finally so I aired up two of the tires in the Sprite at lunch and drove it back to work. The ride home tonight was a bit chilly. It started up even with a low battery eventually and ran just like always. Good old simple technology.
