Austin-Healey Sprite MkIV 1968. The final edition of the Sprite was the MkIV launched in 1966 and given a detuned version of the Mini Cooper 1275cc engine.

It was the highlight of our trip to see the Sphagnum Sprites in the bog. I so rarely get to see them.......such a special treat! A challenge to photograph but worth the effort to see them "up close and personal" :)

It is 22" wide by 27.5" tall. It used 6,216 beads and 17 pegboards.
It is made with Perler/Hama/Nabbi fuse beads.
I made this on November 5-7, 2010.
Notes:
PAC stands for Pixel Artist Collaboration. This sprite was made by a dA pixel artist. I was given permission in writing to make this artist's sprite out of fuse beads.
It was nice out finally so I aired up two of the tires in the Sprite at lunch and drove it back to work. The ride home tonight was a bit chilly. It started up even with a low battery eventually and ran just like always. Good old simple technology.

Making a sprited departure away from Wells is "Pilgrim" a 1981 built 0-6-0 steam locomotive, on the Wells & Walsingham Light Rly,
This line which is 4 miles (6.4km) long, is now the longest 10 1ā4 in (260 mm) gauge railway in the world. It runs from the coastal town of Wells-next-the-Sea to the village of Walsingham, famous as a centre of pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham.

Old Sprite can, with the old-fashioned removable pop top opening. This was probably one of the first aluminum soft drink cans.
Time for some extreme HDR. Australia Day at the Angaston reserve (Oval). 4 car clubs met this day, to eat and be merry.
