Wild Child, RIP, Moon Light RIP, and Moon Shadow, my cute black Pomeranians at Springvale Cemetery, Springvale, Melbourne.
Wild Child & Moon Light were going grey about this time, they were pups of my Pomeranian called Jazzy, aka Mum. The dogs lived in Moe, Victoria, Australia.

Some time ago, I took some pics of Nunawading station and railway line being put below street level to eliminate a bottleneck of traffic. Thought I'd give you an update on how works are progressing. This view is from early August
This ambulance came racing on full priorities from Springvale Way on to Maendy Way, and on towards the town centre, presumably en route to the new Grange University Hospital at Llanfrechfa.
Atlanta (Inman Park), Georgia.
17 May 2018.
▶ Extending through the center of Inman Park (itself a neighborhood, not a park), Springvale Park was designed in the early 20th-century by landscape architects, the Olmsteds. The dun-hued pond exudes a slight aura of dilapidation.

A tasty crab with a light and crunchy batter. Could have done with a bit more chilli and spring onions in the salt-and-pepper mix.

Coffee queue to the left, noodles and congee to the right. Doing brisk business at 8am on a Wednesday.

What appears to be a type of wasp mimic fly, but which specifically, I have not been able to determine. See comment below.
This is the type of ride I'm game to go on. Just waiting for a couple of Grandchildren (though none likely for some years) so I can go on it again! Happy Chinese New Year
Flytipping just below Thornhill Road on the footpath that leads down to the Springvale Industrial Estate. Dumping of household rubbish in the woods here is already prevalent; if the local council introduces three weekly refuse collections over the current fortnightly, this will increase exponentially.

Here's a novelty for Cwmbran - paid parking. This parking area behind some units was cleared recently of rubbish and derelict vehicles. Now, it is a paying car park. I don't see many using it.
A rather striking fly which I have unfortunately, not been able to identify.
I finally tracked it down, it is a female scorpion fly (Panorpa communis). The male’s tail (actually its genitalia) curls back like a scorpion’s. It feeds on dead insects, often stealing from spiders’ webs.
