We had endless snow all day yesterday, quite heavy snowfall, although it didn't lie very much in the city as it had been raining so much before, although it did turn to slush as the flakes whirled around in the wind, and plastered the flakes over people's jackets, roofs, windows.
Hard to believe it is early April! I braved the freezing cold to grab a few quick people watching shots on my way home from work (then had to put my gloves back on as my fingers were frozen to the camera!)
Oddly every time i upload i get explored. Ever since that blood one. Not that im complaining! I just.. am confused. Ill explain below. (if you haven't read my other captions.) Its just really really odd. Im not used to this.
So i cut our faces off because Brent face was blurry and my smile was horrible xD
Besides i think it looks cool cropped. but what do i know? xD
So, Explores been confusing me lately. Its dropping my photos and then putting them back up. But its like noone can see them because well... i'm no getting any views connecting to the explore page. (i looked in my references) So im super confused.
I explain something like this in the last photo caption. but i felt like... well saying it again xD
Anyways. The temperature's getting hotter and hotter as days go by and its making me so nostalgic for the REAL thing.
Summer.

This is a water drop refraction shot taken at the University of Kentucky's arboretum. The refracted image in the water is of the branches of the purple blooms on some shrub branches, with a stone wall and grass in the background (all upside down as with any refracted image). I wish the refracted image was sharper, but this was the best one I could get before the drop fell. Post-processing, I did a square crop, bumped up the color saturation and sharpened, and I added a bit of a vignette to draw attention to droplet. Thoughts, comments, suggestions, etc., are welcomed and appreciated. Thanks!
It's officially Spring and although we can't go out because of the Covid-19 lockdown, I'm glad that I have nature around me so that I can take these photos without breaking the rules.
I hope we'll have a nice Summer after all. Meanwhile, let's stay home, safe and strong.

This was the first time we visited Darjeeling in springtime and saw the magnolia trees in bloom.It was a really lovely sight.
A sure fire sign that Spring has arrived.
