When I came home for lunch today I took the dogs out back to share with you what Springtime in New York looks like! Enough already.

"Springtime Bluebells" by Patti Deters. Every spring, wild Virginia bluebells (mertensia virginica) carpet the woodland floor of Carley State Park, Minnesota where this single bluebell stem was photographed with nodding flowers and a few little buds. Bright, yet soft and filtered, light gives these little spring blooming flowers a magical pastel look. This low growing beauty sports pale purple blossoms which hang facing down on their short stems. Find them on a sunny day when the flowers open up. This photo is presented with a vertical crop. If you like this wildflower image, please see more (outdoor, nature) at patti-deters.pixels.com. This lovely artwork is for sale on a variety of products at patti-deters.pixels.com/featured/springtime-bluebells-pat... (printed and shipped WITHOUT watermark) through Fine Art America (FAA) which offers a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Love the springtime snow storms with the wet snow that sticks to everything. Like waking up to frosted flakes. Everything glazed in white. The naked cottonwood trees frosted in white.

A shady section of a path at Dart's Hill with splashes of Springtime colour.

Dart's Hill was a private garden lovingly planted by the late Francesca Darts and her husband and later turned over to the City of Surrey B.C. for it's care. It has many rare specimen plants.

Dart's Hill has limited public access, but is open to the public for Springtime Saturday Strolls per the schedule: dartshill.ca/events/.

Springtime on Elakala, West Virginia

I am still going through and processing images from last weeks tri to West Virginia. I will be heading back to the mountains on Wednesday for a 5 day private gig that starts on Thursday. In the meantime, I am putting in a lot of work on a new website, Estore and custom blog.

The new Dehaze feature in Lightroom is pretty neat. You can remove haze or add it for creative affect.
