September 1 is considered springday, 3 weeks ahead of the earth reaching its spring position with respect to the sun.

I went to the Botanical Garden to capture some Spring! This one is for everybody who needs some Spring colors but especially for my friend Kim's Pics :) You should check out her photostream! But I hope everybody is going to like it.

This lighting came out strange in this shot but i like it anyway! Hazy light and spring colors. Finally some warmth.

I can't quite get enough of these pretty little forget-me-nots at the moment!
Spring Valley, IL five-span through truss bridge on IL Rt 89 spanning the Illinois River. This two lane highway bridge was constructed in 1934. The longest span (center) is 364 ft, overall length 1,775.1 ft.
Unfortunately, this beautiful riveted iron bridge is scheduled to be replace. Get your pictures now.

Spring
Again, the violet bows to the lily.
Again, the rose is tearing off her gown!
The green ones have come from the other world,
tipsy like the breeze up to some new foolishness.
Again, near the top of the mountain,
the anemone's sweet features appear...
Again there are sufis everywhere!
The bud is shy, but the wind removes
her veil suddenly, "My friend!"
The Friend is here like water in the stream,
like a lotus on the water.
