Thanks for views,faves and comments:-)
For Smile on Saturday group theme "smiling spoons". I learned it is hard to take a reflection on a spoon! I will probably work on this more, just because I don't think it should have been so hard. :=) I hope everyone is Smiling on Saturday!

For "Crazy Tuesday" group theme of "A SPOONFUL OF"
A black drape used as a background
- a few folds can be seen
- spoon supported by a 'box' under the drape.
- chair legs just inserted into the skin of the nectarine to
provide a reasonably stable base
- coloured bottle
- flower.
That poor flower has survived the drought of the last week and now today's sporadic thunderstorms.
A bit of extra saturation and sharpening to get this result from my old and modified Miranda lens. It's taken longer to write this than it did to take the photograph.

When I saw these spoons, I knew they were a must for our Spoons and Friends collection! I love them.
Arriving at Lake Tahoe there was so much traffic and construction that I decided to visit the nearby Spooner Lake State Park, which turned out to be a good choice as it was beautiful and there were hardly any people on the nice loop trail around the lake....
Not something I have tried before, but feeling challenged by the Crazy Tuesday challenge this week.
Harder than I realised, but after some a bit of patience, I was happy with the results.
Canon EOS 6D - f/8 - 1/100sec - 100mm - ISO 3200
- for challenge Flickr group: Macro Mondays,
theme: A Spoonful
- plastic toddler spoon, length of the bowl: 4.8 cm
I had a play with spoon reflections on a wet day recently. Canon 600D on a tripod, material of mine in the background and a desert spoon. ISO 200, 1/6 ss, f/6.3. Warning - it is addictive! lol.

Thank you in advance for your views, comments, and faves. They are much appreciated!
Just a little difference in the placement of the spoon may make it easier to see what is happening. I like this plaid paper a lot.
